Is it just me or does the sale madness begin earlier and earlier every year? This year, I even noticed that most of the big names started early Black Friday deals at the end of October which was probably the earliest I’ve ever seen. Even though I love finding the best deals and sharing with all my friends (all of you), it definitely becomes overwhelming to see all of the sales blasted all over social media, emails, and TV. Since I find it overwhelming, I could only imagine how stressful it might be especially when someone is trying to shop for gifts and they barely like to shop at all. I hope this helps you guys this week while you are shopping for either yourself or for people on your gift list. I wanted to put a quick little reminder out there that even though there are sales and marketing tactics all over the internet right now, things are just things. While there may be some deals that are better around this time of year, the stuff will be there another time so please don’t feel pressured to buy buy buy right now. Material goods are not the key to happiness and if the holidays need to look different this year for whatever reason, family/friends/experiences are all the things that can truly mean the world. If it was between a new shirt on sale or making a memory with a loved one, I would choose the memory making in a heartbeat.
